The Raisin River Canoe Race is one of the longest canoe races in Eastern Ontario. First started in 1973, the 30km course runs from St. Andrews to Williamstown. The race is always held during the spring freshet when water levels are high and flows are favourable for paddlers.

April 19 8:30 AM : Canoe number pickup opens for pre-registrations only (St. Andrews Catholic School, 17283 County Rd 18, St Andrews West)
April 19 9:00 AM : On-site registrations opens (St. Andrews Catholic School, 17283 County Rd 18, St Andrews West)
April 19 10:30 AM : Race starts (Field beside St. Andrews Catholic School)
April 19 1:00 PM : Shower and change room facilities open (Char-Lan Recreation Centre, 19740 John Street, Williamstown)
April 19 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM : Post-race dinner fundraiser hosted by the St. Mary's Community Centre at the Char-Lan Recreation Centre (19740 John Street, Williamstown)
Awards will be mailed out to category winners, 2nd place and 3rd place in the week following the event.
