Following the advice of public health officials in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Raisin Region Conservation Authority (RRCA) has modified its operations for the safety of staff, board members, volunteers, and the general public.

Most employees are working safely from home and meetings are taking place virtually.  The RRCA has restricted non-essential activities, travel, meetings, and public use of recreational facilities.  Programs and services details are found below:

Administration Office

The RRCA Administration Office (18045 County Road 2, Cornwall) closed to the general public on March 17, 2020 and will remain closed until further notice. Paperwork may be dropped off in a secure dropbox located at the main office entrance.

Community members and partners are asked to correspond with staff by phone or e-mail.  Click here for the RRCA staff directory.

Planning and Regulations

The RRCA will make every effort to maintain planning and permit review timelines.  When a site visit is deemed essential and cannot be postponed, landowners / contractors are asked to remain in their homes / vehicles.  Staff will communicate with others by phone.  For fees, forms, etc., visit our Planning and Permits page.

Forestry Sertives

Details about the RRCA's forestry services, such as tree planting, tree orders, etc. can be found on our Land and Trees page.

Conservation Areas

While our network of nature trails remain open, some amenities (such as public washrooms) are closed at our Conservation Areas.  While enjoying our trails, visitors are to practice physical distancing and avoid gathering in groups or touching common surfaces.  Public health officials recommend wearing a mask or face covering outdoors when 2 m physical distancing is not possible.

If the parking lot is full, please consider visiting another Conservation Area.

Factility bookings are not available at this time.
